Minutes:

• Meeting opened at 2:30PM
• Members discussed the project, the brief is currently still a bit unclear although there is a general understanding for what needs to be done. Team brainstormed a number of questions to ask to help develop a scope of required work with client
• Confirmed that a meeting has been set up for 6/06/2024 at 8PM with client. Tomas advised that he may also be in attendance - calendar invite extended to Tomas
• Dana appointed temporary secretary for minute taking
• Discussed available APIs that could be used, decided OpenAI or Gemini might be good options. Possibility discussed that we could create a program as middleware and have it fetch data from an API reducing overall complexity
• Team looked at client's school website and located a video that displayed it's LMS system - there may be a requirement to integrate this with the existing LMS system. Will be able to confirm what available languages this can be programmed with once we understand more of the scope
• Team to look at how a chat bot is made to familiarise with concepts to be somewhat ready with the ideas of what might be required by Thursday
• Meeting closing at 3:30PM

Actions:

• Team members to familiarise selves with generally how a chat bot can be set up - appears Vercel SDK and Python could be good options at the moment but may be restricted depending on what the customer needs the program to do
